Jeff Treadway (Hugh Jeffery Treadway) was born on January 22, 1963 in Columbus, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1987 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1988, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 2 home runs and 23 RBI. Treadway played for the Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers and Montreal Expos over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Jeff Treadway's best season was 1990, when he hit for a .283 average and knocked in 59 runs.
