Born on August 19, 1970 in Fullerton, California, Jeff Tam (Jeffrey Eugene Tam) played for the New York Mets, Cleveland Indians, Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 6 year career. Tam broke into the bigs on June 30, 1998 with the New York Mets, and put up a 2.63 ERA in 85.2 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jeff Tam's best season was 2000, when he posted a 2.63 ERA.
