Jeff Stone (Jeffrey Glen Stone) was born on December 26, 1960 in Kennett, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on September 9, 1983 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .362 with 1 home run and 15 RBI. Stone played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 8 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Jeff Stone's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1986, when he hit for a .277 average. However, others believe that it was 1984, when he stole 27 bases and hit for a .362 average.
