Born on August 26, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Jeff Parrett (Jeffrey Dale Parrett) played for the Montreal Expos, Philadelphia Phillies, Atlanta Braves, Oakland Athletics, Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 10 year career. Parrett broke into the bigs on April 11, 1986 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 4.21 ERA in 62 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jeff Parrett's best season was 1989, when he posted a 2.98 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 98 batters.
