Born on January 21, 1970 in Tokyo, Japan, Jeff McCurry (Jeffrey Dee McCurry) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies and Houston Astros over the course of his 5 year career. McCurry broke into the bigs on May 6, 1995 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 5.02 ERA in 61 innings pitched in 1995, his rookie year.
