Jeff Markland (Jeffrey Stuart Markland) was born on November 16, 1965 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at John Burroughs (Burbank, CA), Markland attended Pierce College and the University of Illinois. Markland made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
