Jeff King (Jeffrey Wayne King) was born on December 26, 1964 in Marion, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on June 2, 1989 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .195 with 5 home runs and 19 RBI. King played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Jeff King's best season was 1996, when he slugged 30 home runs and knocked in 111 runs.
