Born on July 5, 1962 in Decatur, Illinois, Jeff Innis (Jeffrey David Innis) played for the New York Mets for his entire 7 year career. Innis broke into the bigs on May 16, 1987 with the New York Mets, and put up a 2.66 ERA in 84.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Jeff Innis's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1992, when he posted a 2.86 ERA. However, others believe that it was 1991, when he posted a 2.66 ERA.
