Jeff Heath (John Geoffrey Heath) was born on April 1, 1915 in Fort William, Ontario (Canada). He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1936 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1938, his rookie year, he hit .343 with 21 home runs and 112 RBI. Heath played for the Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and Boston Braves over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that Jeff Heath's best season was 1941, when he slugged 24 home runs, hit for a .340 average and knocked in 123 runs.
