Jeff Gaffney (John Francis Gaffney) was born on October 22, 1964 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at Walt Whitman (Bethesda, MD), Gaffney attended the University of Virginia. Gaffney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
