Jeff Frye (Jeffrey Dustin Frye) was born on August 31, 1966 in Oakland, California. He made his Major League debut on July 9, 1992 for the Texas Rangers. In 1992, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 1 home run and 12 RBI. Frye played for the Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Jeff Frye's best season was 1997, when he hit for a .312 average and knocked in 51 runs.
