Jeff Feagles (Jeffrey Allan Feagles) was born on March 7, 1966 in Anaheim, California. After going to high school at Gerard Catholic (Phoenix, AZ), Feagles attended Scottsdale Community College and the University of Miami. Feagles made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the New England Patriots. He has played for the Seattle Seahawks, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots over the course of his 20 year career.

Most people believe that 1994 was Jeff Feagles's best year, as he dropped 33 punts inside the 20 and had a 40.8 yard punt average.

Up until the 2007 season's playoffs, Feagles had never made it beyond a divisional playoff round, as discussed in this article. Until 2007, Feagles has only won one playoff game in his career in the 1992 Wild Card round with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Feagles' Miami Hurricanes won the national title in 1987, his senior year, but Feagles went undrafted and was picked up by the Patriots. He played in every game for New England in the 1988 season, and has played every game, every year of his entire 20-year career. He currently holds the record for most consecutive games played with 320.

However, in all 20 of those seasons, Feagles only made it to the Pro Bowl once in 1995 with the Arizona Cardinals.

• Feagles joined the New York Giants wearing the number 10. But when the Giants traded for Eli Manning, Manning, who wore the number 10 in college, requested the number. He paid for Feagles' family vacation in exchange for the number, and Feagles took number 17 instead. The next off-season, the Giants signed free agent Plaxico Burress, who wore 17 for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Burress paid for an outdoor kitchen for Feagles in exchange for the number. "The guys in the equipment room tell me I'm the luckiest person they've ever seen," Feagles told the New York Times. "Think about what I've profited in the past two years just from my jersey number. Now I have No. 18, and everyone is wondering if any of the rookies are going to want it."^[1]
• Feagles is the last remaining active player from the original Tecmo Super Bowl.

• Feagles became the oldest player to win a Super Bowl, as well as the oldest to play in one at the age of 41.
