Jeff Durkota (Jeffrey Durkota) was born on December 20, 1923 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Edensburg-Columbia, Durkota attended Pennsylvania State University. Durkota made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the Los Angeles Dons. He played for the Los Angeles Dons for his entire 1 year career.
