Jeff Cross (Joffre James Cross) was born on August 28, 1918 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on September 27, 1942 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Cross played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 4 year career.
