Jeff Burroughs (Jeffrey Alan Burroughs) was born on March 7, 1951 in Long Beach, California. He made his Major League debut on July 20, 1970 for the Washington Senators. In 1971, his rookie year, he hit .232 with 5 home runs and 25 RBI. Burroughs played for the Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 16 year career.

Most people believe that Jeff Burroughs's best season was 1977, when he slugged 41 home runs and knocked in 114 runs.

Jeff is the father of Sean Burroughs.
