Born on April 13, 1962 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Jeff Bittiger (Jeffrey Scott Bittiger) played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 4 year career. Bittiger broke into the bigs on September 2, 1986 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 4.23 ERA in 61.2 innings pitched in 1988, his rookie year.
