Born on December 10, 1960 in Lompoc, California, Jeff Bettendorf (Jeffrey Allen Bettendorf) played for the Oakland Athletics for his entire 1 year career. Bettendorf broke into the bigs on April 8, 1984 with the Oakland Athletics.
