Jeb Blount (John Eugene Blount) was born on July 12, 1954 in Tyler, Texas. After going to high school at Longview (TX), Blount attended the University of Tulsa. Blount made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
