Jay Ward (John Francis Ward) was born on September 9, 1938 in Brookfield, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on May 6, 1963 for the Minnesota Twins. Ward played for the Minnesota Twins and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 3 year career.
