Jay Ratliff (Jeremiah J. Ratliff) was born on August 29, 1981 in St. Petersburg, Florida. After going to high school at Lowndes County (GA), Ratliff attended Auburn University. Ratliff made his professional debut in the NFL in 2005 with the Dallas Cowboys. He has played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 2006 was Jay Ratliff's best year.
