Jay Partridge (James Bugg Partridge) was born on November 15, 1902 in Mountville, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1927 for the Brooklyn Robins. In 1927, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 7 home runs and 40 RBI. Partridge played for the Brooklyn Robins for his entire 2 year career.
