Jay Hornbeak (Jay William Hornbeak) was born on September 9, 1911 in Corsciana, Texas. After going to high school at Corsicana (TX), Hornbeak attended the University of Washington. Hornbeak made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
