Jay Cunningham (Jay Cunningham) was born on October 9, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio. After going to high school at South (Youngstown, OH), Cunningham attended Bowling Green State University. Cunningham made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1967 was Jay Cunningham's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown and had 627 kick return yards.
