Born on February 5, 1977 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Javier Martinez (Javier Antonio Martinez) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career. Martinez broke into the bigs on April 2, 1998 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
