Born on November 13, 1973 in Mountain View, California, Jason Simontacchi (Jason William Simontacchi) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 3 year career. Simontacchi broke into the bigs on May 4, 2002 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 4.02 ERA in 143.1 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.
