Born on June 26, 1975 in Jackson, Michigan, Jason Middlebrook (Jason Douglas Middlebrook) played for the San Diego Padres and New York Mets over the course of his 3 year career. Middlebrook broke into the bigs on September 17, 2001 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 4.73 ERA in 51.1 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.
