Jason Phillips (Jason Lloyd Phillips) was born on September 27, 1976 in La Mesa, California. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 2001 for the New York Mets. In 2003, his rookie year, he hit .298 with 11 home runs and 58 RBI. Phillips played for the New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Jason Phillips's best season was 2003, when he hit for a .298 average and knocked in 58 runs.
