Born on October 27, 1973 in Santa Barbara, California, Jason Johnson (Jason Michael Johnson) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 10 year career. Johnson broke into the bigs on August 27, 1997 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 5.70 ERA in 60 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jason Johnson's best season was 2003, when he posted a 4.18 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 118 batters.
