Jason Gildon (Jason Larue Gildon) was born on July 31, 1972 in Altus, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Altus (OK), Gildon attended Oklahoma State University. Gildon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 2000 was Jason Gildon's best year, as he recorded 13.5 sacks, recovered 4 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
