Born on May 26, 1971 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Jason Bere (Jason Phillip Bere) played for the Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 11 year career. Bere broke into the bigs on May 27, 1993 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 3.47 ERA in 142.2 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jason Bere's best season was 2001, when he posted a 4.31 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 175 batters.
