James Young (James Young) was born on July 8, 1950 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Wheatley (Houston, TX), Young attended Texas Southern University. Young made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was James Young's best year.
