James Whitley (James LaVell Whitley) was born on May 13, 1979 in Decatur, Illinois. After going to high school at Norview (Norfolk, VA), Whitley attended the University of Michigan. Whitley made his professional debut in the NFL in 2002 with the St. Louis Rams. He played for the St. Louis Rams and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 2002 was James Whitley's best year.
