James Thrash (James Thrash) was born on April 28, 1975 in Denver, Colorado. After going to high school at Wewoka (OK), Thrash attended Missouri Southern State. Thrash made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the Washington Redskins. He has played for the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 2001 was James Thrash's best year, as he hauled in 63 receptions, had 833 receiving yards and caught 8 TD passes.

James Thrash (born April 28, 1975 in Denver, Colorado) is an NFL wide receiver for the Washington Redskins.

He was signed as a rookie free agent out of Missouri Southern State University by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1997, but quickly released and signed by the Redskins during training camp. He played four seasons with the Redskins and won the team's "Unsung Hero" award in 2000 before signing with the Eagles. After three seasons with the Eagles, including one as their leading receiver, the Redskins eagerly traded a draft pick to the Eagles for the chance to bring him back to Washington. He has been a valued contributor on special teams since his return, and in the later parts of the 2006 season, has made some clutch catches in the end zone and on third downs. According to the team website, Thrash is beginning to earn the moniker "Mr. Clutch."
