James Pruitt (James Bouvias Pruitt) was born on January 29, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA), Pruitt attended California State University, Fullerton. Pruitt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1987 was James Pruitt's best year.
