James Jenkins
[edit] Biography
James Jenkins (James Jenkins) was born on August 17, 1967 in Staten Island, New York. After going to high school at Curtis (Staten Island, NY), Jenkins attended Rutgers State University of New Jersey. While undrafted, Joe Gibbs made a personal appeal to Jenkins to not join the army and concentrate on professional football instead. Jenkins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 10 year career as a blocking specialist on offense, winning one Super Bowl during the 1991 season.
Most people believe that 1994 was James Jenkins's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
A divorced father of three, after working as a NFL strength and conditioning coach, he is now employed as a personal trainer for Private Training Inc.
