James Farrior (James Alfred Farrior) was born on January 6, 1975 in Ettrick, Virginia. After going to high school at Matoaca (Ettrick, VA), Farrior attended the University of Virginia. Farrior made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the New York Jets. He has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 2004 was James Farrior's best year, as he picked off 4 passes, ran back an interception for a touchdown and recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
