[edit] Biography

Born on July 15, 1971 in Pinehurst, North Carolina, James Baldwin (James Baldwin) played for the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, Texas Rangers and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 11 year career. Baldwin broke into the bigs on April 30, 1995 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 4.42 ERA in 169 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was James Baldwin's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2000, when he posted a 4.65 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 116 batters. However, others believe that it was 1996, when he posted a 4.42 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 127 batters.
