Acquired:
Signed as a free-agent by the Tiger-Cats on January 11, 2007.
2006:
Signed as a free-agent by the New York Giants on January 20th…was allocated and subsequently selected by the Berlin Thunder in the 16th round of the NFL Europe Draft…attended the Berlin’s training camp and was waived on March 5th…was released by the Giants on March 17th.
2005:
The Tennessee Titans signed Jackson as an un-drafted free-agent…attended the Titans training camp and was released on July 28th…the Montreal Alouettes signed Jackson to their practice roster on September 6th.
College:
Played four seasons (2001-04) with the University of South Carolina Gamecocks…played in 43 career games, making 21 starts at strong safety…made 159 total tackles (110 solo) including two for eight yards in losses and two quarterback sacks…intercepted two passes, one of which he returned 98 yards for a score, forced three fumbles and recovered two others. (2004) As a senior, Jackson ranked third on the team with 59 total tackles (40 solo) and started all 11 games at strong safety…was a key figure and a vocal leader of a Gamecock defensive unit that ranked fifth in the Southeastern Conference in total defense, sixth in rushing defense and third in pass defense efficiency…was credited with one forced fumble and made two interceptions, one of which he returned 98 yards for a touchdown in South Carolina's season-opening win over Vanderbilt….made a season-high 11 tackles against Georgia, then matched that figure with 11 more tackles against Clemson.
