Born on September 3, 1981 in Fresno, California, Jake Woods (Jacob Thomas Woods) played for the Anaheim Angels and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 2 year career. Woods broke into the bigs on April 8, 2005 with the Anaheim Angels, and put up a 4.20 ERA in 105 innings pitched in 2006, his rookie year.
