Jake Stahl

Jake Stahl (Garland Stahl) was born on April 13, 1879 in Elkhart, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1903 for the Boston Americans. In 1904, his rookie year, he hit .262 with 3 home runs and 50 RBI. Stahl played for the Boston Americans, Washington Senators, New York Highlanders and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 8 year career.
There is some disagreement on what was Jake Stahl's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1910, when he knocked in 77 runs. However, others believe that it was 1905, when he stole 41 bases and knocked in 66 runs.
