Jake Schifino (Vernon Martin Schifino) was born on November 15, 1979 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Penn Hills (PA), Schifino attended the University of Akron. Schifino made his professional debut in the NFL in 2003 with the Tennessee Titans. He played for the Tennessee Titans for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 2003 was Jake Schifino's best year, as he had 703 kick return yards.
