Born on April 1, 1942 in East Los Angeles, California, Jake Jaeckel (Paul Henry Jaeckel) played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 1 year career. Jaeckel broke into the bigs on September 19, 1964 with the Chicago Cubs.
