Jake Daniel (Handley Jacob Daniel) was born on April 22, 1911 in Roanoke, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on July 24, 1937 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Daniel played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
