Jake Crouthamel (John Jacob Crouthamel) was born on June 27, 1938 in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Pennridge (Perkasie, PA), Crouthamel attended Dartmouth College. Crouthamel made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
