Jacob Cruz (Jacob Cruz) was born on January 28, 1973 in Oxnard, California. He made his Major League debut on July 18, 1996 for the San Francisco Giants. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .215 with 4 home runs and 18 RBI. Cruz played for the San Francisco Giants, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 8 year career.
