Jack Shapiro (Jack E. Shapiro) was born on March 22, 1907 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Evander Childs (Bronx, NY), Shapiro attended New York University. Shapiro made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Staten Island Stapletons for his entire 1 year career.
