Jack Morton

Jack Morton (John J. Morton) was born on July 22, 1922 in East St. Louis, Illinois. After going to high school at East St. Louis (IL), Morton attended Purdue University and the University of Missouri. Morton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Chicago Bears. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Bears the entire time. Morton also played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Dons over the course of his 2 year AAFC career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Jack Morton's best year.
