Born on August 25, 1869 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jack McFetridge (John Reed McFetridge) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 2 year career. McFetridge broke into the bigs on June 7, 1890 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 4.89 ERA in 103 innings pitched in 1903, his rookie year.
