Jack McCandless (Scott Cook McCandless) was born on May 5, 1891 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1914 for the Baltimore Terrapins. In 1915, his rookie year, he hit .214 with 5 home runs and 34 RBI. McCandless played for the Baltimore Terrapins for his entire 2 year career.
