Jack Lohrke (Jack Wayne Lohrke) was born on February 25, 1924 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1947 for the New York Giants. In 1947, his rookie year, he hit .240 with 11 home runs and 35 RBI. Lohrke played for the New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 7 year career.
